Tuscany is known for its excellent wines, from historic Chianti Classico to the fabulous full-bodied Super Tuscans and many other, more local varieties. There's something special about staying on a wine estate, surrounded by the vines that are growing the grapes that will then go into producing the wine. You can often visit the cellars, taste the wine and see the whole process of wine-production - these are very special places.
