If you arrive at your holiday villa having made your way from the airport and then unpacked your rental car, stored the week's groceries, agreed on bedrooms and perhaps even dangled your feet in the pool, you may not feel like dealing with kitchen duty. Happily, at most of our properties you can pre-arrange the help to make that first evening meal a pleasure.
After a long day you may only be in the mood for a cold supper or a prepared lasagna ready to be warmed up and served with a salad; some, however, are ready for that first Italian meal that expands to 3 or 4 courses.
Working with your agent you will be provided with menu options from which to choose and you can mention any food restrictions that the chef can then work around.
In addition to catered meals, it is often possible to have a short list of arrival groceries purchased and waiting for you (with the cost on receipts, plus a service fee if required, to be reimbursed on arrival).
Castellaccio guests gather for one of many outdoor meals.
The dining room looks out to Villa Ascarello's beautiful rose garden.
Dimora's pergola has a sweeping green panorama.
Catered meals are not restricted to arrival nights and local chefs can be engaged to make any meal a special occasion. As these good cooks often are excellent teachers, many of our guests find a group cooking lesson is a highlight of their trip.
As not all houses offer the same options, check the features listed for your property to see what is possible at the house you have chosen.
